The first step in planning your Barbie themed birthday party is to choose which Barbie movie or theme you want to base the party around. We went with the Malibu Barbie theme in honor of the new barbie movie!
Barbie Inspired Balloon Garland
For a Barbie balloon garland, i grabbed one of our custom balloon garland kits! These DIY balloon kits are perfect for creating the customized, instagram worthy look on a budget! I used balloon colors Pixie, Pearl Blue & Pearl Lemon Chiffon.
I always like to accesorize our balloon garlands with additional foil balloons that match our coordinating theme. For these barbie party decorations I went with a palm tree balloon, a cute roller skate balloon and one of our super popular daisy balloons!
Barbie Party Decorations
Every barbie party needs to have Barbie's signature catch phrase somewhere, which is why we chose this "Let's Go Party" banner! For decorations, think pink, glitter, and anything that sparkles. Hang streamers and balloons in shades of pink, yellow, and pastel blue. Add some sparkle with confetti and glittery tablecloths. You can even create a DIY photo booth with a pink backdrop and Barbie themed props!

Barbie Table Setting
Now for the table! Setting the table at a birthday party is my favorite part! For this barbie inspired party i went with bright neon rose pink party plates, layered with these cute striped plates - think beach ball vibes. On top of that I grabbed these adorable scalloped yellow napkins.
These palm tree cups really transport us to Malibu with barbie. ☀️☀️

And of course, what's a birthday party without treats? You can create a fun and colorful dessert table with pink cupcakes, candy necklaces, and even a Barbie cake! Grab a cute cake stand and fun candles to top it off!

Come on Barbie, every barbie girl needs the perfect accessories! I grabbed these totally epic party visors for our barbie party! And of course these mini sun jellies are perfect for party favors!
