Pastel Pokemon Party
Let's throw a Pastel Pokémon Birthday Party!Does your child love Pokémon? Check out this guide to throwing an adorable & enjoyable pastel Pokémon Party!
Backdrop
I like to start with the party backdrop while planning and decorating for a party. The backdrop will be the main focus when guests arrive so it makes sense to start there. For a pastel Pokemon b-day party, I decided to start with a custom balloon garland. I chose colors that coordinate with the characters from Pokemon, like seaglass, orange, pastel yellow & light pink. I always love to add some extra balloons to any balloon garland. For our Pokemon birthday party I chose a lightening bolt & some mini star balloons!
Balloons
Of course, you need Pikachu at a pastel Pokemon Birthday party!
Set the Table
One of my party must haves, is this faux grass table runner! It has to be one of the most versatile party decorations around! Start with rolling the faux grass table runner down the center of your table. Then set the table! I chose these sunshine yellow plates by Coterie. Then I went with these turquoise paper cups & striped yellow napkins. You can grab a set of these pastel wooden cutlery sets to really elevate the look!
Cake
After you've picked up your Pokemon Birthday cake, you'll need somewhere to display it! We love these melamine cake stands, they come in a variety of solid colors and are perfect for a pastel Pokémon cake! For candles, we went with these tall star candles by Meri Meri. I absolutely love the entire collection of Meri Meri birthday candles. Check them out here!
Party Favors
Instead of using disposable bags for your Pokémon treat bags, use these cute Mini Sunjellies! They're tiny, come in tons of colors and can be used for play afterwards. Fill them up with fun surprise balls, pencils, candy and more!
Extras
I chose these striped pom pom party hats for our cute Pokemon Party. Another great addition to a Pokemon party is this Jumbo Airwalker Pokemon Balloon!
